The Perfect Match public art program from Marrickville Council has proven a triumphant success in the inner west of Sydney. Hugues has has the great honour of being selected to be one of the artists involved in the program for two years running now.
His first mural, in Alice Lane in Newtown, has been highlighted by the media for its distinct effect on reducing illegal graffiti in the tag-prone laneway. You can read about it here:

Hugues' second piece for Perfect Match adorns the exterior of iconic music venue Camelot Lounge, in the heart of industrial Marrickville. The piece is a great example of Hugues' stylistic diversity; this piece was inspired by both cubist painter Sonia Delaunay and cult classic European film Le Bal.
