Famed French cubist artist Fernand Léger has long been a major influence of both Hugues and his brother Jean-François.

Léger is a contemporary icon in his native France and indeed around the world, and both Sineux brothers have created numerous homages to the man and his work during their careers. A newly published art book and biography by Benoît Noël on Léger celebrates the brothers' work, featuring an entire chapter on Atelier Sineux, the collaborative company Hugues shares with his brother.

Entitled Fernand Léger: Un Normand Planétaire, the French publication is a comprehensive record of Léger's art as well as the many artists whom he has influenced. It is published by BVR Editions in France, 2015.
